I havent played cmr3, but i DO like WRC2extreme. had a ball on that stage in a rally on medium level, swapping a 1/10th here and a 1/10th there with gronholm. the longest one from the catalan rally rocks too, get a nice sensation of speed. There's a 15km stage in Argentina.in the wet! There's loads more.so just stop torturing yourself.at the moment there's nothing better, until WRC III. It also has a cool quick race mode where the game randomly selects a car/driver/stage for you.
#COLIN MCRAE RALLY 3 PLAYSTATION 2 PROFESSIONAL#
WRC II has just about the right balance, I've yet to unlock the hardest setting but even in professional mode you will not win every stage and you'll probably find Sweden quite a challenge. Overall, it comes down to what you want, CMR3 is too arcadie for me. They have up to 800bhp!! and are basically evolutions of the current cars, so no stupid looking winged monsters or anything. You can also unlock 'prototype' WRC cars in the hardest level once it's unlocked. There's a 15km stage in Argentina.in the wet! The FF wheel however makes beautiful use of the analogue, I absolutely love it. There are stages that go up to 15km!! That's usually about 8 or 9 frantic minutes. WRC is best enjoyed with a FF wheel.believe me! The dual shock cannot use the analogue function so the steering has to be digital which doesn't take too long to get used to. You get droplets on the screen in chase and bonnet cams. The car damage is better as is the in-car weather effects with the wipers, and the sound is marginally better.but that's it.really I too have played both and WRC II kicks ass!! CMR3 has only a couple things over WRC, but neither are enough to warrant a purchase.
